Chemical Skin Peel

A chemical peel is a minimally invasive procedure that helps improve the appearance of skin.

Juvéderm Dermal Fillers

Juvéderm Dermal fillers are injected into the dermis or epidermis depending on the filler used in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous, producing a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to the skin.

This produces volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. When enhancing lips or facial contours, fillers add volume and shape to the treated area.

FAQs

How long will the treatment session take?

Treatment is a very quick and easy process. As no pre-test is needed, the treatment can be carried out immediately. A treatment generally takes 30 minutes. The time differs somewhat, depending on the correction you wish to have performed.

How long do the effects last?

The duration of effect can depend on age, how much filler is injected, where it is placed, the quality of the skin as well as general health and lifestyle. With the Juvéderm® ULTRA range however, the beneficial effects can be expected to last for up to one year after treatment.

What should I bear in mind after my treatment?

During the first 48 hours after your treatment, do not massage or rub the treated area. If you have had a lip enhancement, avoid puckering your lips for the first two days after the treatment. Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (in a solarium or by sunbathing).

Can the filler be removed?

At Diamond Aesthetics we do not use fillers that cannot be reversed. Certain enzymes and steroids are available to dissolve the fillers.

Ferulac Peel

Properties of ferulic acid

Ferulic acid has antioxidant properties: it protects the skin from free radical aggression, inhibits and neutralizes their action and enhances the effects of vitamins C and E. It protects the skin from UVB and UVA radiation, contributing to minimize damage caused by the sun and protecting cellular DNA. Controls tyrosinase activity, preventing and lightening unwanted pigmentations. It also has a pro-apoptotic effect on cancer cells.

Properties of phloretin

Phloretin promotes the penetration of the rest of the ingredients by adsorbing to lipid surfaces and altering the dipole potential of lipid bilayers. It inhibits the activity of elastase, enzyme in charge of elastic fiber degradation. It also has antioxidant properties.

What will I look like after the treatment?

  • Photoaging.
  • Melasma and sun spots.
